The Odd Cold Spots
Things began going off and become really odd, by weeks. One night, while making the rounds about the place with all the medieval armor, I became aware of something unusual—a sudden chill. The temperature of the museum was kept at a stable in order to preserve the artifacts, but this was not like that. It felt like walking into a pocket of freezing air. My breath was misty as I blew it out right in front of me, while I was indoors. The cool spot faded within mere seconds, before it disappeared as suddenly as it had popped up.

These cold spots started appearing at random areas in the museum, but every time utterly without warning. It mattered not if it was a walk through the Victorian exhibit, full of fragile clothing and furnishings from the 19th century, or the wing of natural history, home to fossils from so long ago. The chill would come over me, then be gone almost instantly. Each time I felt it, I had this sensation that I was not alone, that something unseen touched by me.
