Final Thoughts: A Haunted Legacy
Coming from a position of skepticism-basically a person who doesn’t believe ghosts or supernatural activity-I never believed in anything. However, after a few months at the museum, experiencing the unexplainable, I found myself asking myself if it was all just my imagination, or was this really happening? Going further and delving into the history and definition of a museum-for me it is no longer about preserving history; it is a place that houses the spirit of history sometimes in ways that defy logic or reason.

One day I quit my job, but the nights that still lingered in the haunted museum stayed with me up to this very day. Actually, I have come to realize that some places hold onto the past’s energy especially those which are associated with tragic or important events. The spirits weren’t evil; they were just there to watch and care for the objects that once mattered so much in their life.
What an experience it was – to live in a haunted museum. For the first time, I realized that history never ends at a closed book or a glass case. Sometimes the past is still all alive and walks among us, whispering from the shadows, waiting to be acknowledged.
